    Attention jigsaw puzzlers, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for! Join us at Park Grove Library for a jigsaw puzzle competition! Gather your team of 2 to 4 people and compete against other teams to finish the same 500-piece puzzle in the least amount of time. Registration is required. One "team captain" should register for each team. Space is limited to ten teams.

  2. Let's Make Stuff: Book Folding

    Join us for Let's Make Stuff! to get crafty and learn something new. In this class, each participant will create their own Folded Book Heart! Let's Make Stuff is a creative class for adults. Each month will feature a different project. Class size is limited so registration is required. Register online, or call your local branch. This program will be held at R.H. Stafford Library. Before registering, please make sure you can attend in person. If you can't make it, please cancel your registration as soon as possible to give someone on the waiting list the chance to attend the class. This class will be repeated on Tuesday, February 20. Fine motor skills are required, we will be using pencils, rulers, a bone folder, and scissors.

    Couldn't make it to storytime during the week? Love storytime so much you want to come again? Join us at Hardwood Creek Library on select Saturday mornings for storytime! This inclusive, welcoming program will use stories, songs, movement and more to help toddlers and preschoolers develop early literacy skills. This storytime is for children of all ages and their caregivers. This storytime will duplicate content from our Tuesday storytime during the week. Registration is not required.

This program for children of all ages and their caregivers and includes stories, songs, movement, as well as a drop-in heart craft shortly after storytime. This program will duplicate content from our Thursday Evening storytime from earlier in the week. Registration is not required.

  6. Drop In: Heart Suncatcher Craft

    Make a heart suncatcher following Saturday's storytime at Wildwood Library! These works of art will be used to decorate the children's room windows. We will provide supplies and instructions for you to make this self-directed craft. All ages are welcome as long as younger artists have adult supervision. Registration is not required. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

    Teens, interested in playing Dungeons and Dragons? Come play with a friendly group at Hardwood Creek Library! All levels are welcome, and players are encouraged to come every week.   8. Native Plant Winter Sowing

    Join Washington County Master Gardeners to learn more about this technique, see a demonstration, and create your own sample to take home to get a jump start on the gardening season. You will learn: Why it’s important to start your native perennial seeds in winter How to create your own mini-greenhouses from milk jugs. Additional locally grown, adapted native seeds will also be available to take home for more winter sowing fun. Soil and seeds will be provided. Please bring two repurposed plastic containers (i.e. milk jugs). Feel free to bring your own native plant seeds if you have them. Registration appreciated, but not required.
