  1. Art Cart for Adults: Bottlecap Magnet Collage

    Come experience the Art Cart at Park Grove Library. Programs with these carts will not be instructor led, but there will be some helpful information. Participants are welcome to interact with art materials on the cart. This month we'll be making bottlecap magnet collages. This is a great opportunity to use your imagination and meet someone new. No registration is needed. For this activity, children over 8 years of age are welcome as long as they are supervised by an adult. This program is funded with money from the Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

    Wildwood Library is hosting a special screen-to-stage storytime program featuring local student actors from Children's Performing Arts MN. The visiting performers will share scenes from their upcoming production of Finding Nemo Jr. This program is for children of all ages and their families. Registration is not required

  4. Drop In: Sea Animal Craft

    Following the Stage-to-Screen Storytime performance of Finding Nemo Jr., stick around for a drop-in craft decorating sea animals! The artwork will be used to decorate the children's room windows for our very own, "Wildwood Aquarium." We will provide supplies and instructions for you to make this self-directed craft. All ages are welcome as long as an adult supervises younger artists. Registration is not required.

    Teens, interested in playing Dungeons and Dragons? Come play with a friendly group at Hardwood Creek Library! All levels are welcome, and players are encouraged to come every week.   6. Puzzle Competition

    Are you ready for a challenge? Come be a part of the Hardwood Creek Library Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament! Teams of 2 to 4 people compete to finish the same 550-piece puzzle in the least amount of time. Prizes will be awarded to the first two teams to finish the puzzle. Here's how it works: Form a team of two to four players and create a team name. You must have at least two people to be considered a team. Registration opens January 13, 2024. Register online, stop by or call Hardwood Creek Library at 651-275-7300 to register with a staff person. Space is limited to 10 teams so register early. You may register your team the day of the contest if space allows. Please come at least 15 minutes early to sign in and get any last minute instructions. If you need to cancel your registration, please cancel online or contact us at 651-275-7300 so we have space for other teams. *One person registers for the team - add the teammates as guests.
