Join a Snowshoe Story Stroll at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
Read a story while taking a stroll with children. Story Strolls are free with a Washington County Parks vehicle permit ($7 daily/$30 annually) and are self-guided.
This stroll will feature the story The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats.
Hot cocoa and s'mores will be available following this family-friendly stroll. All ages are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own snowshoes or sleds. A limited number of snowshoes will be available.
A permanent story stroll has been installed at Big Marine Park Reserve, thanks to a partnership with Washington County Library. This story stroll follows a walking path that loops by the playground and picnic shelter. The Story Adventure Trail is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Lake Elmo Park Reserve is at 1515 Keats Ave. N. in Lake Elmo.
