Hybrid: Park Grove Library Book Club, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. Read the book and join the discussion. Everyone is welcome. This month's selection is Trust Exercise by Susan Choi. Contraption Club, 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 26. Explore and learn how to use new technology to make almost anything. Participants will have access to 3D printing, laser cutting, coding robots, soldering, Cricut cutting machines, computerized embroidery, and more. For ages 9-12. This workshop is funded in part with a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education. Registration is not required.
Outdoor Family Storytime, 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 27. This outdoor storytime focuses on concepts such as life skills, counting, colors, emotions, patterns, and kindness. Storytime is an opportunity to meet new friends, socialize, and strengthen early literacy skills. Registration is not required. Recommended for ages 0-8 and their grown-ups.
Take and Make with Space St. Croix: Telescope Flipbook, Saturday, May 28. Explore the deployment of the James Webb Space Telescope by creating a 48-frame flipbook. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration is not required. Supplies will be provided for you to complete outside the library and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
