Make the stars your old friends while watching the great celestial show in the skies over Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Get to know constellations like The Big Bear, Orion the Hunter, Gemini the Twins, Taurus the Bull, and some of the great stories behind them. The program will begin inside of the Nordic Center for a presentation on the skies, following an outdoor experience to view giant telescopes that will be aimed to view star clusters, galaxies, and more. Participants also get a handout package with user-friendly star maps and constellation charts, apps, websites, a telescope-buying guide, and more!
