Grazing has completed at Washington County Parks for 2023. All goats have recently been removed from the parks. Goats assist with controlling garlic mustard and common buckthorn and will return next spring in 2024.
The goats have completed their grazing for the year and were removed from the park.
St. Croix Bluff goats have completed their grazing for the year and were removed from the park.

Goats graze on undesirable plants, like common buckthorn and garlic mustard to set them back and make way for native species.
We move the goats depending on how long it takes them to eat the vegetation of the paddock they are in. A paddock is the fenced in area where the goats are placed to target specific plants.
