Request a Public Safety Presentation
Washington County provides community presentations on a variety of crime prevention and general public safety issues. Topics include but are not limited to child safety seats, ID Theft, internet fraud, neighborhood watch, elder fraud, water craft safety, and personal safety. In addition, deputies can speak with youth groups and give tours of the Law Enforcement Center. If you are interested in scheduling a public safety presentation for your organization or group please complete the public safety presentation request form.
Vacation Home Checks
Residents, who leave their home for a vacation or other extended period of time, could request the Sheriff's Office to check on your house,. Complete and submit a vacation check request form.

Speed Trailer Requests
If vehicle speed is a concern in your neighborhood, the Sheriff's Office can deploy a mobile speed detection device to your area of concern. Complete and submit a speed trailer request form.

Neighborhood Watch
For information on starting a Neighborhood Watch, visit the National Neighborhood Watch website. If you wish to speak with a deputy for additional guidance in setting up a Neighborhood Watch program, please fill out a Neighborhood Watch information request form.

Home or Business Survey Request
To request the Sheriff's Office to conduct an onsite survey of your home or business to increase in crime prevention efforts, complete the survey request form.

Business Keyholder Information
Local law enforcement and other emergency personnel maintain Washington County business information, including business name, address, phone numbers, and current keyholders. Periodically, the Sheriff's Office updates the key holder roster to ensure the most up-to-date information, including alarm system information, in case of an emergency. Complete the keyholder information form to update a change to your business keyholder information.

Ride Along Request
If you are currently enrolled in a law enforcement or criminal justice program and wish to request a ride along, please complete the Ride Along Request form. Individuals must be over the age of 18 and clear a criminal background check.
