School Recycling

A 2010 study conducted by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency found that over 78% of school waste is recyclable or compostable.

Minnesota schools are required by state statute to have recycling programs. Implementing waste management best practices can also help schools save money on disposal costs and create positive waste reduction and recycling behaviors for students and staff.
