About WIC

  • WIC is a nutrition and breastfeeding program that helps families eat well and stay healthy.
  • WIC provides nutrition education through and one-on-one counseling about food, nutrition, and breastfeeding.
  • WIC gives food benefits to buy healthy foods, including fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, protein foods, whole grains, cereals, infant foods and more.
  • WIC also helps with referrals to other health and social services

WIC Clinics Are Open for In-Person Services

All Washington County WIC clinics are open to in-person visits. Open days and hours will vary by clinic location. WIC still offers phone appointments, if appropriate. Please call 651-430-6658 to schedule an appointment or have questions answered.

Food Benefits

Food benefits can often times be loaded on your eWIC card by phone if you talk with a nutritionist. A phone appointment may be necessary prior to loading benefits. Call 651-430-6658 to schedule an appointment or with questions
